Hi there! I'm Sandra Hall and I design and handcraft Mimi Handbags. Mimi was my grandmother's name: the woman who taught me to sew. Memories of the two of us sitting at the table sewing my dollhouse curtains brought me back to her machine. Once my "little sewing hobby" collided with my obsession for handbags, there was no turning back. In tribute to that little woman with a huge presence, my handbags were christened.

Eight years and four sewing machines later, I’m still selfishly carving out time to curate fabrics, design new patterns, and sew one of a kind handbags in my home studio in beautiful northern Utah.

I work with rich and durable upholstery grade fabric, genuine leather, and more recently, Portuguese cork eco-leather. Each handbag is crafted individually and is a unique, one of a kind piece of wearable art.
